03-12-2008 First, the ongoing historic victory of the Hawiye people’s armed Resistance over the bloody US-EU and UN backed Ethiopian occupation forces should be seen as only ending one side of a three front war. Truth is the Tribal war will continue perpetually; the Ethiopian collaborators are truly deceiving themselves if they think they can possibly disconnect themselves from their tribal crimes against humanity.
Second, the miserable Ethiopians and more importantly the American and EU masters now fully appreciate their own “fatal error” of fighting for the defeated Darood TFG gangs of yesterday. However much dictator Meles tried to deluded himself and his Christian Habesha to think in the contrary of reality, all the dead Ethiopians in Somalia will be remembered, first and foremost, for simply dying in vain for the cowardly parasitic Darood gang’s fairytale of ruling Somalia. As for the Hawiye, they are now very much strengthened by the War itself, and as can be expected will never in the least cease until they revenge for the genocide— that is a given fact which everyone from George Bush to Meles Zinawi and his loyal slave Abdullahi Yusuf (not to mention the Resistance) fully agree on.
So, all the foolish Ethiopian dictator Meles did was turn Mogadishu into a Holocaust but also the Hawiye itself into the “real quagmire” nightmare, one which no Western military power on earth, let alone America and its slave regimes in Africa and elsewhere, ever wants to get involved in again. Simply put, no matter how much money or guns the West gives you, no matter how many mercenary proxies can be recruited, they will not and cannot as events clearly show possibly survive Mogadishu for one day!
If the Ethiopian-Hawiye war was inevitable from the beginning, it is also nevertheless instructive on many levels. Mogadishu is the textbook case today of where a determined people’s movement simultaneously arose to destroy all the foreign powers attacking it’s lands; while all the while, robustly and unflinching dealing with the internal collaborators at every opportunity— even if one hand tied behind their back.
Internationally, the Somalia war will be remembered for pitting the victorious Hawiye people against the genocidal foreign aggression, namely the US-EU superpowers, their desperate Ethiopian genocidal proxy Meles dictatorship; the doomed African mercenaries; and those venal and despicable anti-Somali Arab tyrants hiding out in Yemen, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.
Today, the decisive tipping point of all those wars— the Hawiye people— have triumphed again, against all the odds to victory. The Western powers—despite deploying every known genocidal stratagem to massacre, manipulate and starve millions in Mogadishu and throughout the South and Central Somalia—suddenly recognize defeat staring them in the eye and want to appease the Hawiye!
The anti-Ethiopian Hawiye insurgency grows daily, while the Western powers stumble from one stooge blunder in Nairobi to catastrophic defeat in Mogadishu in a manner worst than present-day Afghanistan and Vietnam before!
In 2006, the stated objectives for the US-instigated Ethiopian intervention in the Somali tribal war seemed to reflect the prevalent ideological underpinnings of US imperialist foreign policy under George W.Bush. Namely, by attacking the Hawiye people the US was continuing its disastrous campaign of launching religious based wars of invasion against the Muslim societies; meticulously destroying national sovereignty everywhere it could; thereby dismantling localized development and eroding basic human freedoms and prospect of peaceful co-existence.
However, today the US and EU powers themselves are politically, economically, morally and militarily finished in Somalia and cannot hope to control in any way or shape the adverse and unpredictable consequences of their crimes. In fact, the Western miscalculation to let the Ethiopian genocidal Meles to invade Mogadishu and become bogged down in all of southern and central Somalia has become primarily the exclusive tipping point in blowing up the Horn of Africa altogether.
Lastly, what is remarkable in hindsight is not that it took the liquidation of perhaps Two-thirds of the initial 100,000 Ethiopian invasion forces in Mogadishu nor the current disintegration of the Ethiopian Tigrayan dictatorship today, but the sheer intransigence of Western powers to grudgingly comprehend that they won’t really win in Somalia, despite genocide! If Bill Clinton, himself an arrogant and foolish man, understood the wise merit of not interfering in the internal tribal Wars of Somalia in 1990s, did George Bush really think things had changed in 2006-2008?
Now, let the present humiliating occupation debacle in Somalia serve a strong lesson to all foreign Western invaders in general, and especially the doomed Ethiopians in particular, not to ever gamble on the fairytales of dead men with your life!
